The USTA Pro Circuit directly supports the USTA’s mission “to promote and develop the growth of tennis.” The 4th Annual Sheriff Jim Coats Clearwater Women’s Open is the only professional tennis tournament sponsorship opportunity currently available in Pinellas County and delivers world class tennis with a $25K purse. Over the past three years, this tournament has become an integral part of the community and has created a host of opportunities for developing community tennis activities, attracting new players and recharging the energy of existing players. Since the onset of the event, The City of Clearwater has wrapped their collective arms around the event and provides many in-kind services and contributions to assure the continued success of this prestigious tournament.  The proceeds from this event benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast and demonstrates our community’s commitment to help make a positive influence in the lives of local youths.
